Cunninghams of Westport was founded by my father Pat Cunningham in 1974 in Westport, Co. Mayo with just one van. It continued this way until 1985 when we secured a contract with Irish Rail. We grew from one van to six in a very short period and we haven’t looked back since.

Today, the business is run by myself and my wife Léonie. We operate both a day and night contract haulage service. Delivering business to business, during their closed hours from Monday night through to Saturday morning.

We also provide same day deliveries to motor factors in the Roscommon, Galway and Mayo regions on a daily basis Monday to Friday. Cunninghams of Westport also operate a dedicated service to many government bodies and financial institutions.
